Rights & responsibilities.

    • You are welcome to have your informal supports present whilst receiving any services from Ready Set Care. This could be a friend, a family member, advocate or a person from a chosen provider.

    • If you are unsure about the information or advice provided, you can ask us to provide further assistance to help you understand.

    • You can ask for support to engage with other services or stop services you receive from Ready Set Care at any time and we will terminate as per any cancellation policies in your service agreement.

    • You have a right to receive safe and quality services from trained and experienced staff with appropriate qualifications where applicable.

    • The details of the services you are engaging Ready Set Care for and a service agreement with these details including frequency, fees, cancellation policies and total budget allocated.

    • Respect and recognise your needs, your culture, identity, beliefs and choices.

    • Provide you with clear and accessible information in the way that suits you best.

    • Work with you to assess your needs and decide the services that will help you achieve your goals.

    • Ensure our staff are skilled and trained with appropriate qualifications as necessary.

    • Provide you with information regarding other community and mainstream services which may be relevant when requested by you.

    • Encourage you to exercise choice and control, ask questions and contribute to ensure the services you receive are appropriate for you.

  • You also have some responsibilities, as a participant receiving services from Ready Set Care. We have summarised these below:

    • Advise Ready Set Care in a timely manner when you need to reschedule or cancel a services and be available on time with any scheduled services.

    • Be respectful to staff and any service providers– disrespect, aggressive or offensive behaviour is not tolerated and Ready Set Care reserves the right to stopping your services.

    • Assist staff find the best service for you by providing as much information as possible and answering any questions we may have.

    • Accept there may be limits to the scope and services that Ready Set Care offers.

    • Observe Ready Set Care health and safety directions and comply with any health and safety requirements when our staff attend your home, you attend our locations or meet at any other setting.
