  • This document sets out the privacy policy of Crux Care PTY LTD trading as Ready Set Care ABN 65 669 056 099 with the registered business name “Ready Set Care” (referred to in this privacy policy as ‘Ready Set Care, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’).

    • The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) requires entities bound by the Australian Privacy Principles to have a privacy policy. We respect your privacy, take our privacy obligations seriously and we’ve created this privacy policy to explain how we store, maintain, use, share and disclose personal information.

    • When you request a service at Ready Set Care you will be asked to provide consent for us to keep information about you and the service(s) you use. By engaging our services, you will in effect have provided this consent. By providing personal information (including sensitive information) to us, you consent to our storage, maintenance, use and disclosing of personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

    • We may change this privacy policy from time to time by posting an updated copy on our website and we encourage you to check our website regularly to ensure that you are aware of our most current privacy policy.

The information we collect assists us to keep current details about you and your needs, records to comply with service provision requirements and progress reporting, so we can provide services for you in the best possible way.

    • Your records are only used by the staff who are working with you, and Ready Set Care uses the information only to provide you with the best care and services.

    • We may ask for general ongoing consent to share your information with services outside of Ready Set Care or if we haven't already received consent, we will ask your consent to share your information, for referral and linkages purposes.

    • Ready Set Care may disclose your information where it is required or authorised by law.

    • Ready Set Care has a legal duty of care and may need to share information if the health, wellbeing or safety of you, or a child, is at risk.

    • Ready Set Care may be asked to provide information to external agencies such as the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), other as may be relevant, to assist in the planning and monitoring of our services.

    • We may also collect personal information from you when you use or access our website or our social media pages. This may be done through use of web analytics tools, ‘cookies’ or other similar tracking technologies that allow us to track and analyse your website usage.
